Rev. Gardner was Co-director of the Ministers In Training Program at Allen Temple and was instrumental in implementing and serving as the Director for the Volunteer Ministry Program.
She also served on the Prison Ministry team, and volunteered as a Support Group Facilitator at Allen Temple Arms. Additionally, she worked as a Hospice Counselor for five years with Pathways Hospice.
At age 60, Reverend Gardner returned to Seminary where she received a Masters of Divinity Degree from the American Baptist Seminary of the West in Berkeley, California.
She also holds a Bachelor of Arts Degree from University of San Francisco.
Reverend Gardner is the mother of four, a grandmother of eight and loving wife of Felton Gardner for fifty-one years.
Her Mantra all day long is Lord Hold my Hand while I run this race, Lord I don't want to run this race in vain!!!
