ATBC Scholarship Committee
The Allen Temple Baptist Church Scholarship Committee administers scholarship funds provided through contributions from the Allen Temple membership, fundraising efforts of the Allen Temple Business and Professional Women’s Society, and other donations. Funds are awarded to eligible high school graduates and continuing college students based on available funds and scholarship guidelines.
The Allen Temple Baptist Church Scholarship Application is available from May 16, 2022, through June 30, 2022.

The Allen Temple Baptist Church Scholarship Application is due by June 30, 2022, and must include all parts of the application package.
For All New Scholarship Applicants ONLY
The Application Package – Due by June 30 (every year)
A complete ATBC Scholarship Application must include the following:
- A completed and certified Scholarship Application
- Documentation of ATBC Membership (ex. Elexio membership profile, membership certificate, or baptismal certificate)
- A current senior portrait photograph (.img, .gif, or .jpg files only; sized at 400px or smaller)
- A copy of your final high school transcript
- Proof of graduation from high school (copy of the diploma) or completion of a GED
- Your Personal Essay – In 500 words, please share how being a member of Allen Temple Baptist Church has impacted or helped you. Include your educational goals, how you plan to achieve them, and how you will use the scholarship to support your educational needs.
- Current college students who are first-time applicants must also provide a copy of your college transcript
Submission Criteria
- Please review your completed application and maintain a copy of all application documents for your records.
- All documents need to be in electronic form and sent as email attachments.
- Enter your name in the “Subject” line of the email.
- Send all documents in the Application Package to the following email address: scholarship@allen-temple.org.
- Email submissions of the application package are due no later than June 30, by 11:59 p.m.
- ONLY scholarship applications and documentation submitted by email attachment to scholarship@allen-temple.org will be reviewed.
- NO OTHER METHOD OF SUBMITTING YOUR APPLICATION OR DOCUMENTATION IS ACCEPTABLE.
o Please do not leave any paper scholarship applications or documentation at the church.
o Please do not mail your scholarship applications or documentation to the church.
