I HAVE KNOWN DR SCOTT FOR ABOUT ONE YEAR. MY INTEREST IN DOING SOMETHING IN ZIMBABWE AND MY HIV INVOLVEMENT LED ME TO FINDOUT ABOUT HIM FROM COLLEAGUES. HE WAS AN INSPIRATION A WARM AND CARING HEART FOR BOTH AFRICA AND BAY AREA HIV PATIENTS AND WORKERS. I AM ALSO AN HIV DOCTOR AND I WILL CONSIDER MY SELF A SUCCESS IF I CAN BE HALF HE WAS BY THE END OF MY CAREER.

GOD REST HIS SOUL AND CONSOLE HIS FAMILY, PATIENTS AND CO-WORKERS!

Dr. Scott was my Physician, Friend and Confidante and his passing has created a tremendous void in my life.

Dr. Scott's #1 attribute to his patients was compassion. I have never met anybody who cared so much for his patients. He gave them 100% and expected nothing but that from them. He always had time for his patients and never referred to his patients as a Medical Record Number, but he treated them by their first name and sometimes even their nicknames, and they loved him for it.

As a mentor, he taught me what it takes to be an excellent and successful physician. In his own words, "If you cook with a little more sugar and a little less vinegar, you will go a long way".

The health care community has lost a great pioneer and an example to all of us. He is and will always be in a class all of his own!

I miss you Doc!
